Moscow hotels retain world's priciest room rate ranking

Room rates in Moscow averaged a budget-bruising $414 per night in 2012, making it nine years running that the Russian city was the world's priciest place to stay. The annual survey, conducted by a U.K.-based travel, expense and data management firm, noted that the world's hotel rates grew by an average of 1.4% -- a number slightly higher than in 2011.
