Only 35% of firms track wellness program outcomes, survey shows

A survey by Buck Consultants found 35% of U.S. employers measured their wellness programs for specific health outcomes in 2012, down from 37% in 2010. Almost 70% of those that did not track data cited a lack of resources. The survey found 54% of employers did not know if their wellness program affected company health costs.
