SIFMA argues against NCUA's MBS lawsuits involving banks

In a brief filed in a U.S. appeals court, SIFMA argued that the National Credit Union Administration should not be allowed to sue banks over mortgage-backed securities sales because their argument to extend the statute of limitations didn't apply in these cases. The NCUA is suing about a half dozen large banks over what they call, "systemic disregard of underwriting guidelines." Learn more about SIFMA's Amicus Briefs.
