ACGME issues guidance on improving physician education

The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education has released the Clinical Learning Environment Review Pathways to Excellence document to improve physician education. The publication, which includes data from more than 100 site visits and input from focus groups, defines the best clinical learning environment, recommends ways to improve resident and physician engagement, and offers tools for monitoring progress and determining future areas for improvement.
