Flappy Bird brings in $50,000 per day, hits top of app stores

Flappy Bird has ranked as the most popular application in the Apple App Store and Google Play for the past two months and is reportedly generating $50,000 a day in advertising revenues. The success of Vietnamese developer Dong Nguyen's addictive game is a boost to other Asian apps such as Line, WeChat and Kakao Talk, Jon Russell writes.
