Israeli plastic surgeon helps create lighter breast implant

A plastic surgeon and biomedical engineer in Israel have invented a breast implant that weighs 30% less than conventional implants. The implant uses only components already approved for medical use and the same standard shell, manufacturing process and surgical procedure as conventional implants. The implant has earned CE mark approval in Europe.
