Study: Higher doses of Lipitor reduce hospital heart-failure visits

A new study argues for higher doses of the cholesterol-lowering drug Lipitor to reduce the risk of hospitalization for heart failure. The study noted that higher doses of atorvastatin benefit only people with a history of heart failure.
