Expert outlines often overlooked technology lessons

There are four things that students need to know in the digital age that many schools are overlooking, according to an education technology consultant. Alan November says students should be taught global empathy, social and ethical responsibility on the Internet, the consequences of posting information online and how to think critically about online resources. "I can't think of a single more important skill than being able to tear apart information on the Web," November says.
