Mexico's Soriana forecasts up to 8% rise in same-store sales

Ricardo Martin, CEO at Mexico's No. 2 retailer, Soriana, said same-store sales will likely rise by as much as 8% this year. "Compared to 2009, consumption has improved a lot. We expect growth of 7[%] to 8% in same-store sales," Martin said. Total sales, he said, will likely jump 15% as the country rebounds from recession.
