Utah district is using RTI to help tailor curriculum for all students

Educators in Utah's recently formed Canyons School District plan to apply the Response to Intervention system to all learners -- including students who may be gifted. The district is still working to determine the best instructional techniques to use with students who are gifted, but it hopes the RTI system will identify more students as gifted from populations of English-language learners or students with learning disabilities.
