Obama offers incentives as he appeals to corporate America

U.S. President Barack Obama told the U.S. Chamber of Commerce that he needs business leaders' help in fixing "burdensome" corporate taxes. He said proposed trade deals with Colombia and Panama would bring sales to U.S. businesses, and he promised to push them through to ratification. Obama's appearance before the business group, which has opposed many of his policies, was seen as an effort to gain the support of corporate America and independent voters in preparation for his re-election campaign.
