Blogs, especially popular ones, often have to deal with "comment spam" -- comments designed to drive traffic to another website. To weed out these messages, remove comments that are off-topic or that contain unrelated links, Angela West writes. Using a comment spam blocker such as Akismet or CommentLuv Premium can also help.
