Impact-fee bill heads to Pa. governor for approval

The Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Wednesday approved a bill to impose an impact fee on natural gas-drilling operations. The measure, which heads to the governor for his signature, would set drilling fees that will move in accordance with natural gas prices. "This legislation reaffirms our strong commitment to safe and responsible natural gas development here in Pennsylvania," said Gov. Tom Corbett.
