S&P downgrades CME in wake of MF Global collapse

CME Group's credit rating has taken a hit because of efforts to compensate MF Global customers, according to Standard & Poor's. The agency downgraded CME's long-term rating to AA-minus. CME's efforts to move into clearing of over-the-counter derivatives have meant the company has taken on more risk, according to S&P.
