ACE plans groundbreaking for almost $111M project in Calif.

Construction of a $110.5 million rail underpass in Irwindale, Calif., will begin in April, according to the Alameda Corridor-East Construction Authority. The project is expected to reduce traffic congestion in the area through a lowered and widened roadway beneath a Union Pacific-owned double-track line.
