Wisconsin still the nation's leading cheese producer

Wisconsin grew its cheese production by 4.6% last year, its biggest percentage gain in 10 years and enough for the state to maintain its position position as the nation's leading producer of cheese, according to the National Agricultural Statistics Service. The state produced 2.8 billion pounds of cheese last year.
