Timber bridges increasingly gaining popularity -- again

Timber bridges that once crossed many of the nation's streams are making a comeback as municipal and public agencies increasingly see aesthetic and economic appeal in the bridges. One such bridge that's attracting attention is an elegant suspension pedestrian bridge being built over Oregon's Wilson River in the state's new Tillamook Forest Center.
