California city approves sale, redevelopment of downtown

The city council of Sunnyvale, Calif., has approved the sale of a 36.5-acre site to Sand Hill Property Co. of San Mateo and equity partner Rreef. The site's redevelopment plan includes possible plans for a 200-room hotel.
