MediaCart targets shoppers

MediaCart, a smart shopping cart using RFID and video technology to target ads to customers, attracted Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Kraft Foods and PepsiCo as advertisers in its pilot program, which is in three stores. The company plans a national rollout of the cart by 2008.
