Boston Properties halts construction of Hudson Yards

Boston Properties says it will suspend construction on a 1 million square-foot office building in Midtown Manhattan. After a major law firm backed out of its lease, the property developer called the nearly $1 billion Hudson Yards project "economically infeasible in today's environment." The developers had hoped to apply for a LEED Gold rating for the building.
