Businesses train employees to win government contracts

After decades of focusing on the private sector, some North Carolina businesses now pin hopes on government contracts. Companies are training employees to create bids and craft paperwork to submit for government contracts they hope will result from the economic-stimulus package. "Government-stimulus spending may impact particular industries, but it eventually trickles down," said Archie Black, a procurement counselor at UNC Charlotte.
