Commentary: More leaders talk of depression

Leading economists and market observers are increasingly speculating that the U.S. economy may slide from a recession into a depression. Writing in a commentary, Douglas A. McIntyre notes that the comments are alarming because they come from the core of the business world, not the fringe. "This goes to show that nearly everyone has gone from being nervous to terrified," he said.
