Former teacher celebrated by students

A former teacher was celebrated for his innovative methods that his former students say helped them become business owners and successful adults. Forty years ago while teaching fifth grade, Duane Smith's controversial methods almost cost him his job, but his students said Smith taught them to think and gave them the confidence to succeed.
