Geithner delays announcement of financial-recovery plan

With the question of what to do about illiquid bank assets unresolved, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has postponed the announcement of the Obama administration's financial-recovery plan until Tuesday. "We've got to characterize this not as saving the banks, but saving the economy in terms of the credit that flows in this country," said Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo.
