OMB director to play key role in Obama's health reform goals

Office of Management and Budget Director Peter Orszag is expected to help President Barack Obama in setting priorities for overhauling the health care system, writes Jeff Goldsmith in the Health Affairs Blog. Orszag was involved in the preparation of a Congressional Budget Office report published in December that focuses on curbing federal spending for health care. The report offers hints on the direction that the Obama administration may take to carry out its reform agenda, Goldsmith says.
