Small businesses could get more tax breaks

Small businesses could get more tax breaks, including a change that would help them with over-time deductions as opposed to breaks for their income, which are available immediately. Another provision in the latest stimulus package would allow businesses that had a loss in 2008 to offset it against profits earned from as far back as five years instead of two. This way, businesses could get the tax paid on profits they missed in 2008.
