Caterpillar gets behind clean-coal power plant

In an effort to save energy and curb harmful emissions, Caterpillar joined a company coalition trying to build a clean-coal power plant called FutureGen that would reduce greenhouse-gas carbon dioxide by storing it underground. The 275-megawatt plant is planned for eastern Illinois if the U.S. Department of Energy approves the project later this month.
