Dodd will push ahead with partisan regulatory reform bill

It became less likely that the Senate would be successful in its bid to pass a bipartisan financial regulatory reform bill. Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., said Friday talks had broken down with the panel's ranking Republican. "I have instructed my staff to begin drafting legislation to present to the committee later this month," Dodd said in a statement.
