Horse show offers riders with disabilities a venue to show their skills

Children with disabilities participated in Mississippi's Dixie National Special Needs Horse Show, where they exhibited the riding skills that many have learned during years of therapeutic riding sessions. "It helps him sit up a lot better, he walks a lot better, and just, physically, it helps him do more than he could do otherwise," said the mother of one rider who has cerebral palsy.
