Louisiana gets wildlife clearance for levee projects

Louisiana's Terrebonne Levee District secured a clearance from the state's Wildlife and Fisheries Department for its flood-protection projects. The district waited for more than a year to get the clearance, which was required by the Army Corps of Engineers because the projects would affect a wildlife-management area.
