Minnesota considers historic rehab credit as part of stimulus

The Minnesota Legislature is considering a tax credit for historic rehabilitation projects, part of a "construction stimulus" bill to help ease the ailing industry. "We see a lot of skilled, experienced workers who are on the sidelines," said Dave Semerad, chief executive of the Associated General Contractors of Minnesota. "Their families are in financial jeopardy now, as are the contractors that employ them."
