Report: Investors look for commercial viability in biofuel projects

Advanced-biofuel companies that are closest to achieving commercial viability, even if their technology is not the best, would have the best chances of attracting high-profile investments and deals, according to a report from Lux Research. Shell-backed Iogen and Khosla-supported Mascoma were among the companies that ranked high in the study.
