New Opryland Hotel levee system will make use of much concrete

The engineering firm behind the new levee system for the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tenn., claims its $12 million project will not adversely affect nearby properties along the Cumberland River. Three feet of concrete will be added to the levee, but it will be faced with decorative concrete and brick.
