3D images help zoo veterinarians treat animals

Veterinarians at the Brookfield Zoo in Illinois use 3D images to help diagnose conditions in the animals, including a 17-year-old aardvark that had a hole in its mouth stemming from a missing tooth, prompting draining into the sinus cavity. Thanks to the scans, zoo veterinarians were able to diagnose the condition.
