Forsyth receives grant to study tuberculosis biomarkers

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, through its Grand Challenges in Global Health program, awarded the Forsyth Institute a $750,000 grant to research tuberculosis biomarkers. The research will focus on validating seven proteins of TB's agent Mycobacterium tuberculosis as active-disease biomarkers.
