Report: Urbanization creates need for new homes in India

Five hundred million people in India could require new urban homes over the next decade, according to a report by Ficci, an Indian business organization. The country's population could balloon to 1.7 billion by 2050, and urbanization will add 900 million new city residents, according to the report. "City capacity will need to grow nearly 400 percent in less than 50 years," the report said.
