Fairbanks recycling effort transforms glass to road fill

A new recycling effort in Fairbanks, Alaska, is turning glass bottles into road fill or uses the glass for sandblasting. The effort, led by the University of Alaska Fairbanks student association and the Northern Alaska Environmental Center, is the most comprehensive glass recycling program in the city to date.
