Powell urges protection of Internet freedoms

FCC Chairman Michael Powell has said high-speed Internet providers should protect the freedom of the Web by following "Four Freedoms." These are as follows: Freedom to access legal content; Freedom to run any application that won't harm the network; Freedom to attach any device that does not abet crime; Freedom to obtain meaningful information about service plans.
