Blue Chip survey shows less optimism than before

The 52 economists polled by Blue Chip Economic Indicators about the future of the U.S. economy stood by their forecast for a recovery in the second half of this year but predicted a weaker rebound than before. In January, the economists anticipated a 1.2% gain in GDP in the third quarter, but now they are forecasting a 0.8% expansion.
