Cisco CEO: Use stimulus for management makeover

John Chambers describes the economic meltdown as a gift. "We now have the opportunity to re-invent the way we manage companies and get work done," the Cisco boss says. The stimulus bill is a chance to invest in technology, he says, such as Cisco's virtual conference service, as well as broadband and energy-efficient infrastructure. Forget command-and-control leadership, he advises, because collaboration will power the next wave of innovation.
