CMC Electronics sees little sign of downturn

Canada-based CMC Electronics has expanded its business by diversifying from its military customer base in favor of business aviation. Now, with the business segment beginning to slow, CMC is pinning its growth hopes on retrofitting older aircraft with the latest avionics. A core strategy for the company has been to pursue rapid new product development, including electronic flight bags, enhanced vision systems and GPS equipment.
