Analysts: Google to pass $1 billion threshold for display ads

Google in 2010 is projected to surpass the $1 billion mark in display-ad sales -- a jump of as much as 40% over last year, according to analysts. However, the search giant will still trail rival Yahoo!, whose 2009 sales of $6.5 billion mainly came from display ads.
