Kansas mother writes book about raising a child with disabilities

Denise Gossage, a Kansas mother of a son with developmental disabilities, drew from her collection of journal entries and notes from meetings with doctors, therapists end educators to write a book. Gossage hopes "Winging It" will inspire moments of realization she sometimes experienced when reading other people's stories. "I hope the insights, struggles and achievements I've written about in my book will give hope and encouragement to someone else in a similar situation," she says.
