More lawsuits are likely, former SEC enforcement official says

The Securities and Exchange Commission probably will continue to bring "aiding and abetting" lawsuits against corporations, predicts Linda Chatman Thomsen, who led the SEC's enforcement division from 2005 to 2009. The SEC has become more aggressive in pursuing such lawsuits under its current chairman, Mary Schapiro.
