Studies: TV ads, food in movies contribute to childhood obesity

Beverage and food brands used in movies are a source of advertising to children that has been overlooked in the battle against obesity, according to a Dartmouth Medical School study. A second report found television advertising, rather than just being sedentary while watching TV, is associated with obesity.
