Veterinarians highlight need for proper pet dental care

Veterinarians say that periodontal disease is the most frequently diagnosed health issue in the cats and dogs they treat, according to AVMA. This February, which marks Pet Dental Health Month, owners are reminded to take measures to provide their pets with routine dental checks and teeth cleaning by a veterinarian.
