House bill requires arsenic, lead limits in juices

Reps. Frank Pallone, D-N.J., and Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., announced Wednesday their support of a bill that would require the FDA to, within two years, set standards on the amount of arsenic and lead in fruit juices. They noted that both chemicals can affect children's brain development. "We must ensure that the juices our children drink are safe ..." DeLauro said.
