Mass. bill aims to give students post-graduation transition aid

The Massachusetts Senate unanimously approved a bill to increase state standards, so high-school students with disabilities get more help transitioning to post-secondary education, the workforce and independent living. Senate President Therese Murray (D) said the bill, which goes to the House for a vote, would ensure educators get training, so they can evaluate students sooner.
