Las Vegas Sands names site for huge "Eurovegas" in Spain

Las Vegas Sands has named Alcorcon, Spain, south of Madrid, as the site for its planned casino-resort complex, which could cost up to $35 billion to complete. The so-called "Eurovegas" project will include six casinos, 12 hotels, a convention center, theaters, shopping malls, golf courses, bars and restaurants. The $3.6 billion first phase of construction is expected to begin later this year.
