Mass. hospital uses navigation system in catheter-based procedure

Practitioners at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are using a new tool that harnesses medical navigation technology for treatment of atrial fibrillation. MediGuide uses X-rays and visualization technology to guide catheterization, allowing for radiation exposure to be cut by as much as 90%.
